That is the best way I can describe the scratches. It looks as it its been used for a long time. Most of it is fine, however the kief catcher, the lower piece. Now, the 2nd one they sent to me, has more then a scratch, but rather a chip, with many scratches around it. The one pictured is the one that they, them self's, sent to me. That one I had ordered from a retailer, not SC them self's. The first grinder was chipped, that one I didn't get pictures of. So that every time I turn it upside down and grind ( I grinder with the grinder upside down for a finer grind ) I get to stare at this huge chip. The part that is chipped is the lower piece too. However it does suck ass looking at a scratched up, chipped grinder that I just spent 65 dollars on, and it supposed to be new, and top of the line. So I guess sense I got mad because I received a faulty product now I am doomed? True I can use it just fine, cause it doesn't have any chips on the inside. Should I contact them yet again? I'm starting to worry that they are doing this on purpose due to me being mad at first. I guess at least this one isn't on the inside at least. When you put it in any kind of light you can see there are a huge amount scratches on it, it looks very used. However there is a huge chip on the outside of the thing, its huge. Now I have finally received this new grinder, again. They didn't say a word, they just sent the tracking number to me in which said That they had finally shipped it out, that day. In reply to that e,mail I got a tracking number sent to me. I was very nice and said that I was sure they had already shipped it out, but I was just wondering what was going on. At this point I emailed them asking if they had shipped it out. Sadly 4 bis days later I still didn't receive anything. It got there on a Thursday, and about 11:40 in the afternoon. They then said they would ship out a new grinder once they received the grinder I now had to send them, which was fine. After I described every detail of the three pics I sent them ( while they were looking at them too on their end ) they said ok that dmg shouldn't be there. First they said the only dmg that they noticed in the pics was small notches from the grinder parts drying on racks. First when I contacted them, they tried to deny that there was any dmg in the picture. I contacted them about this once I had pictures. However it took me a while to find a camera that took pictures detailed enough to capture this, and as you guys know I have no camera. Here is a pic, I know this is a good while sense my last post. If you rubbed it with your finger nail or anything you would stick in there, the metal would flake off. The metal was completely exposed, and while you might not be able to tell in this pic. However the grinder then arrived and there were teeth that had no paint on them at all. I figured that while I had to pay for another grinder, this was still a pretty sweet deal. Which was awesome because it wasn't them I had purchased the grinder from. They told me that they would send me a free mini grinder with the next grinder I ordered from them. I did however sense then get a hold of the maker of the grinder themselfs. I was mad because I felt ripped off about a santa cruz grinder I had received. I was on here not to long ago, as most of you know, and I handled myself very poorly.
